Translate PliablePress to Your Own Language

We’ve updated all of our themes today to offer full localization support. That means that you can now take any of our themes, and easily translate it into your own language.

The technical side of translating a theme is mostly straightforward (Though it will definitely help if you’re relatively comfortable with using computers). We’ve written a full guide on how to translate here, which will show you exactly how you can get started!

And when you’ve finished the translation, we’d love it if you shared the files with us. This means that everyone can benefit from your translation work. It allows us to open PliablePress up to whole new groups of people, and you’ll be credited for your work of course!

We already have two people who have offered to translate to French and Latin American Spanish (It’s thanks to those two that we’ve gone and made these updates, you’ll get to hear about them soon!).

If you’d like to join in as well, we’d be delighted, just check out the guide above or get in touch!

And last of all, I have to give a shoutout to the .pot generator tool from ICanLocalize. Made it extremely easy to make our blank .pot files!

      Hi Laurynas,

Sorry for taking so long to spot this comment!

Definitely interested in working together on that. Could you shoot me an email at michael@pliablepress.com and we can sort it out? :)

      Thanks,
      Michael
