What Is the Link Between The PliablePress Framework and the Rest of the Themes?

The framework is what powers all of our themes. It is where the control panel exists, the extra widgets, and all of the features used by each of our other themes. You will get a free subscription to our framework and its updates with every single one of our themes.

You then just have to make sure you upload the PliablePress (framework) theme to your WordPress themes folder as well, and the rest is taken care of for you. You can read more about that in our install guide!

For WordPress developers, the PliablePress framework is what is known as a parent theme, and our other themes are children of it. That is, the children inherit all of the properties of the framework, and then change and expand on them to become entirely new themes.

How Many Themes Do You Plan on Releasing in a Year? (For potential Plus+ members)

We’re still quite new so I can’t make any exact promises here, but the goal is around 12. If things go really well, it will be more than that. And don’t worry, if we don’t reach that target, it’s because we’ve spent so much time improving the current themes and the framework in particular (you get all of those upgrades too!)

What Happens After the 12 Months for Plus+ Members?

When your subscription runs out, you will have the option to renew it. The pricing for Plus+ will most likely have changed by then (So that you pay an initial fee like the $150, and then a recurring fee after. That’s why it’s such a great deal at the minute, we’ve left out the recurring part for now!), but we can guarantee that if the price is ever more than the current $150 for a year, then we will honour your original rate and make sure you never have to pay more than that, for the whole lifetime of your subscription!

What Do I Need to Make My Site Look Like the Demo Sites?

Everything on our demo sites comes as part of your package. There are no plugins used on any of our demos. Even things like the Twitter embeds are all custom-coded features we’ve build in for you!

So basically, you can have your site looking exactly like the demo just by using the PliablePress control panel and dragging in some widgets!
